Is it too late?

A pre-recorded video to help explore what might still be possible

Is It Too Late?

When you've been unhappy in your marriage for years and you're wondering whether there's anything left worth trying.

A private, 40-minute recorded masterclass to help you explore what's happened in your marriage, what might still be possible and what your next step could be.

£27 — Watch privately, whenever you're ready.

You've tried to make your marriage work. But you're still unhappy.

Perhaps you've been feeling disconnected from your spouse for years.

The affection and intimacy you once shared have faded. You might feel more like housemates than husband and wife. You've tried talking about it. Maybe you've been to counselling. Things might improve for a while, but before long, you're back where you started. Now you're wondering whether anything will ever really change.

But the thought of leaving is frightening too.

What about the children? Your home? Your finances? The life you've built together?

Perhaps your spouse is a decent person, which makes it even harder to explain why you're so unhappy.

You keep asking yourself the same question.

Is it too late to save my marriage?

And the longer you think about it, the harder it seems to know what to do.

What if there's something you haven't considered?

When you've been unhappy for a long time, it can be difficult to see your relationship clearly. You might feel as though you've tried everything. Or perhaps part of you wonders whether there are still things worth exploring before making such a significant decision.

But there's another question that's just as important.

Even if your marriage could improve, do you still want to try?

That's something many people struggle to answer.

And it's one of the reasons I created Is It Too Late?

Introducing Is It Too Late?

This recorded masterclass is for people who are questioning their marriage but aren't ready to make a decision about staying or leaving.

During approximately 40 minutes together, we'll explore:

  • Why couples can become emotionally disconnected, even when they once had a good relationship.

  • Why the same arguments and problems can keep coming back.

  • What you may not have considered when thinking about whether anything could change.

  • How to begin recognising whether you still want to work on your marriage or whether fear is influencing your choices.

  • What your next step might look like, even if you're nowhere near ready to make a final decision.

This isn't about persuading you to save your marriage.

And it isn't about encouraging you to leave.

It's about helping you look at your relationship differently, so you can begin to understand what you really want.

How is this different from the free guide?

If you've already downloaded my free guide, Questioning Your Relationship?, you may have recognised many of the feelings and worries described in it.

The guide helps you understand why you might feel stuck.

This masterclass takes you further.

We look more closely at what happens when marriages become disconnected, what might still be worth trying and the questions that can help you consider your options.

It's an opportunity to move beyond recognising that you're unhappy and begin thinking about what you might actually do next.

And because it's recorded, you can watch it privately, pause whenever you need to and return to it later.

Who am I?

I'm Catherine Cooke, a coach and mediator, and the founder of Rightstep Coaching. I'm also a former primary school headteacher, and I've been through divorce myself.

After my first marriage ended, I spent a lot of time reflecting on what had happened, including my own part in the relationship. That experience changed how I approach disagreements and express my needs in my marriage today. Alongside my professional work, it's given me a personal understanding of how complicated relationships can be. I know that questioning your marriage doesn't necessarily mean you want it to end.

Sometimes you desperately want things to improve.

Sometimes you're not sure you have the energy to keep trying.

And sometimes you simply don't know what you want anymore.

I don't believe anybody else should make that decision for you.

My role is to help you explore your situation and consider your choices without pressure or judgement.

This masterclass is educational coaching content for individuals questioning their relationship. It isn't couples counselling, therapy or a substitute for specialist support where abuse or coercive control is present.

Hi, I'm Cath

I'm Cath Cooke, a coach, mediator and former primary school headteacher. I've supported many people through separation and divorce, and I know how difficult it can be when you're unhappy in your marriage but aren't sure whether you want to leave.

I've also experienced divorce myself. Looking back at my first marriage, I spent time reflecting on what went wrong, including how I handled disagreements and expressed my own needs. Those lessons have changed how I approach my marriage today.

Through both my personal and professional experience, I've come to understand how relationships can become disconnected over time, why the same problems keep coming back and how difficult it can be to know whether things could improve.

I'm not here to tell you whether to stay or leave. I'm here to help you consider what's happening in your relationship, what might still be possible and what you actually want.

That's exactly why I created Is It Too Late? To help you look at your marriage from a different perspective, explore whether there's anything left worth trying and begin to get clearer about your next step.
